"Savage Alien" is a stop-motion animation created in collaboration with emerging artist Zhong Xian. The soundtrack envelops cold, percussive textures in a sticky, low-frequency atmosphere, forming the structural foundation. To convey the internal conflict of countless souls within an individual, Zhong Xian’s spoken voice is at times reversed, while ghostly humming is stretched and distorted across time and space. The narrative weaves a dialogue between different souls— the Prophet, the Moon Maiden, the Demon, and the Knight— expressing an ambivalent tension that oscillates between righteousness and darkness.
